Andrew Kelley

Andy joined Risk Management Services in January 2011. Andy manages institutional compliance with the Arizona State Fire Code and coordinates the University renovation and construction plans review along with the permitting program. Andy also serves as the primary liaison for the University with the Arizona State Fire Marshal, local fire departments, and national and international fire safety organizations. Andy has a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the UA and is an Arizona Registered Architect. After more than 15 years in the architecture field, he moved to the public sector working in building safety. He spent the past 10 years in the building safety field working as a Building Official and Fire Marshal. Andy is an International Code Council Certified Building Official, Building Plans Examiner, and Fire Plans Examiner and is certified by the Arizona State Fire Marshal’s Office as a Fire Inspector.
