The University of Arizona obtains insurance coverage for property, liability, and worker's compensation through the State of Arizona. This program is established and described in Arizona Revised Statutes §41-621 et seq. The Arizona Department of Administration, Risk Management Section (also referred to as State Risk Management) administers this program on behalf of all Arizona state government entities, including the state's universities. RM&S serves as the university's liaison to State Risk Management and coordinates these insurance programs on behalf of the University of Arizona.
