Mike Garcia, Hazardous Waste Specialist
Mike has been with the University of Arizona since 2005, after spending 10 years
working for Honeywell Engines & Systems as the Environmental Specialist/Chemical
Handler. He also was responsible for various training for the facility including
confined space, forklift, emergency response, etc. His duties with the U of A
include pick up of all hazardous waste materials on campus for proper packing
and disposal, waste water sampling at various areas around campus, and
running the bio-hazardous waste route.
